With the electric spring-applied sliding caliper, E-FSG for short, KNOTT is opening an entirely new chapter in the field of parking brakes. The E-FSG makes any hydraulic system in the vehicle superfluous. That not only saves space, it also reduces the maintenance effort and creates possibilities for new applications in which a reliable parking brake could not be realised before.
Protected against dirt, sturdy, easy to fit and compact - the E-FSG meets all the essential requirements for off-road vehicles of every kind. The mechanism patented by KNOTT also allows the user to monitor the brake status (activated/deactivated) at any time through the electronics.
