In materials management, you compare offers, negotiate with suppliers and oversee the receipt and storage of goods. In production management, you plan, control and monitor the production of goods or services and prepare order accompanying documents.

Your tasks in sales include preparing calculations and price lists and looking after our customers. You also develop targeted marketing strategies. You will work in the areas of accounting and finance, processing, booking and controlling business transactions. As an industrial clerk you can work in almost all economic sectors.

You manufacture components for machines and precision mechanical devices. These are assembled with pneumatic controls and electronic measuring and control components to form functional units. You are also required to be extremely precise when manufacturing punching tools or steel moulds.

You often work on CNC (computer-controlled) machine tools, but sometimes also manually. You plan the work processes, set up machine tools, carry out the work (e.g. turning, milling, drilling, grinding) and assess the work results. You are familiar with the use of various measuring tools. You observe standards and technical documents and strive for constant improvement of work processes, also from an economic point of view.

During your apprenticeship, you will work in every department to get to know the different areas of production.

As a technical product designer, which has replaced the profession of technical draftsman, you are responsible for a wide variety of areas.

As a creative mind, you are in particularly good hands at KNOTT. In addition to analysis, conception and prototype and series support, your daily tasks will also include brainstorming and presentation.

At KNOTT you will be trained in the field of "machine and system design". You will work with the company's internal CAD system and with various management systems. You will design, plan, calculate and create independent concepts and solutions for our customers.

As a warehouse logistics specialist you have a very varied job. Throughout the day you are always busy at the PC, but in between you also have to work in the warehouse or contact suppliers and forwarding agents.

You take care of the complete incoming and outgoing goods and label, scan and sort the goods. You plan and determine the requirements and check the stocks.

In the outgoing goods area, you are responsible for picking, packing, loading and shipping the ordered goods and ensuring that everything arrives at the customer in the desired quality.

As a metal technology specialist, you work on or process metal parts using various processes and machines.

During your training, you will learn the core metalworking skills such as the manufacture of components and assemblies, the use of control technology and the maintenance of operating equipment. You will also deepen your knowledge on assembly technology. Here, the focus is on the assembly and disassembly of assemblies and end products, and you will gain an insight into the various testing procedures.

Thus, after completing your training, you will be optimally prepared for your later place of work in assembly.
