As a manufacturer of vehicle components, we have noticed in some cases in the context of quality assurance and product monitoring that the weld seams on the bracket for brake adjustment are not optimally pronounced.
Under continuous use, this could result in the wheel brake not having sufficient effect and posing a risk in critical driving situations.
To check whether your vehicle is affected and how the repair can be carried out, we have prepared instructions.
We want to carry out a review, also in your interest. Most welds will be fine, but some should be re-welded or the brake or axle replaced if necessary. Should your vehicle be affected by the recall on the basis of the test described in the appendix, we request you to contact us via the following options in order to coordinate the further procedure.
